Our highly qualified staff is devoted to working with schools and communities to improve the skills of students in reading and literacy. Our evidence-based curriculum, delivered by volunteers from the community, has been found to have a positive and statistically significant impact on different measures of student reading proficiency.

Amber Ferguson

Amber Ferguson is the Program Coordinator for Rolling Readers Space Coast. Ensuring that our core program implementation is right and successful, Amber not only acts as a liaison between our volunteers and Brevard Public schools but also makes sure that scheduling and billing as well as building business relations with others are carried out successfully. A powerful force in the workplace, Amber uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage everyone around her to work hard and succeed. Amber is inspired daily by her husband and their five children, three of which are still in elementary school! In her spare time, Amber likes to substitute teach at her children’s school, embrace her inner wild by exploring nature, and spend quality time with her family.

Courtney Sweat

Courtney Sweat, Administrative Support Specialist, provides high-level administrative and secretarial support for our organization. Highly motivated and innovative, Courtney brings a renewed perspective to Rolling Readers. Courtney graduated from Arizona Christian University with a B.A degree in Political Science and minor in Bible. While in college she enjoyed running track and field for the University. In Courtney’s free time, she likes to take her two children to the park. Working for Rolling Readers Space Coast is an honor as she remembers the program from when she was a child and wishes to give other children the privilege of sharing in the same opportunity.
