Volunteering
with rolling readers
is easy!
All that is required to volunteer with Rolling Readers is to enjoy working with children, have a love of reading and thirty minutes to one hour per week of time available. Our volunteers come from all backgrounds, ranging in age from 18 years old and up.

IS ALL IT TAKES
That’s right. In just 30-minutes to an hour each week, Rolling Readers volunteers share the joy of reading and assist children in developing better reading skills.

We provide an orientation/training to ensure that all our volunteers feel at ease participating in their chosen program.
Volunteering is easy!
WE PREPARE AND TRAIN YOU
We walk you through each program and how you can be involved. Training also gives you detailed instructions about what you’ll do when you visit the classroom or participate with one of our mentoring programs.

Whether you’re interested in the Read Aloud, or Reading Skills, we prepare you to have a rewarding and enjoyable volunteer experience.
One-on-one or group training at your place of employment, social club or professional association can also be arranged.
