Mary Mcintyre has lived in Melbourne Florida for 40 years. She is a retired professional nurse with a background in Surgical Services and Informatics. Mary enjoys reading, promoting literacy, cycling, rock climbing, hiking travel and movies. Much of her traveling is to spend time with her 7 grandchildren. Mary has a history of volunteerism in Brevard County. She was a part of the Apple Corp at Meadowlane Elementary, served on the board of the West Melbourne Library, as a Commissioner of Melbourne Village, was active in Greater West Melbourne Athletic Association, Melbourne High School Boosters, and in her professional organization Association of Operating Room Nurses. (AORN). She more recently volunteered to be a Rolling Reader, and now serves as President. A favorite quote is "If you are reading and writing, you are learning."
